1. Do you think humans will need to move to another planet? Why or why not?
- Yes, because I think a lot of countries are having over population and it would be a good idea to find out if there could be life in another planet.
2. If it does happen that some humans move to another planet, would you volunteer to go? Why or why not?
- I probably would, because for me I love adventures and discovering new things.
3. Read this article about people who have signed up to move to Mars: http://www.cnn.com/2013/08/09/tech/innovation/mars-one-applications/index.html What is your reaction to this story?
- I think its amazing what they're doing, but very dangerous and risky. I was very surprised and I might change my mind about going. The last sentence was "but remember: you can never go home again.", which terrified me.
4. What do you think Ray Bradbury wanted the readers of "All Summer in a Day" to understand? What did you think after reading this story?
- I think Ray Bradbury wanted the readers to understand that there isn't another place like Earth, and that people shouldn't think or decide to leave Earth. After the story I changed my mind completely and I totally agree with Ray. We should't leave Earth, because wherever we go, we always come back to it.

I feel you hesitant in your answers especially the first two, because of that i have two questions for clarification for some points.
ReplyDeleteDo you really think that over population is good enough reason to leave earth?
why did you use a weak word like probably? what the reason after use that word ?
Well, the same question to me. So sharp observation it is!Ahmad!
DeleteMaybe yeah, because if over population happened, more and more homeless people there will be.
DeleteI used "probably" because I'm not really sure if I would leave earth or not.
